I have the best husband! He takes really good care of me. Yesterday we had a meeting with one of the elders at the church we are going to, 10th Presbyterian. It was at 4, and so our drive into the City was fine, but we knew that there would be a mass exodus when we were leaving. Anyway, our meeting went really well. 10th is such a good church, we seriously regret not going there sooner, but God has a purpose for everything. We have even considered staying an extra year here in New Jersey just because of the church. haha.
Anyway, the purpose was to get support for while David was away. I got home, and a woman from the church called me and we are meeting on Thursday for some tea! They are so thoughtful at 10th. There is a girl my age that is coming back from vacation this week with her husband from N.H. and she had a misscarriage while she was there. 10th all ready has a team of women that are going to come alongside her and help her out when she gets back. I thought it was just amazing.
Anyway, now to date night. After our meeting we were walking back to our car and passed this Italian Bistro on the corner. Knowing it would be a bad drive back we stopped in for dinner. Bistro La Baia was the name, it was small but oh so good!!! David and I shared an appetizer and dinner. We had the Lobster stuffed Ravioli in a Cognac Sauce (think Vodka Sauce only Cognac). I was sick when we got home, but it was SO worth it! We haven't gone on a dinner date for a long time, so that was extra special! And by the time we left, the traffic wasn't too bad!
This morning Verizon is supposed to be coming out because our phone line is dead...again. It hasn't been working since we got back from Christmas Vacation, and who knows how long while we were gone. They came out once all ready and it worked for a day. So, hopefully they can get it fixed right.
